About

The teacher assigns a set of words or phrases with their definitions. Students learn and review them through six practice activities, including listening, speaking and typing tasks.

Word pools: WordCards tracks each learner's own pool of new, review and self-claimed words across every WordCards activity in the course, so earlier words come back for review.

Building word sets: type words in, import them, or let the Word Wizard look up definitions, translations, model sentences and pictures for you. Learn mode can use one or two sided cards.

Also supported: steps mode and free mode, text to speech in many languages, the Moodle mobile app, completion rules and per-student reports.

Requires a Cloud Poodll account. Recording, transcription, text to speech and AI features run through the Cloud Poodll service, so the plugin needs an API user and secret from https://poodll.com to function.
