Jitsi Meet session running inside a Moodle activityRecordings tab with published session recordings

About

mod_jitsi integrates Jitsi Meet videoconferencing directly into Moodle courses. Teachers schedule sessions as standard activities; students join in one click — no app to install, no account required.

  • Activity completion based on time attended, with detailed attendance reports
  • Moodle profile pictures as avatars and real-time participant list
  • Guest URLs for users outside Moodle, with optional email invitation
  • Private 1-on-1 sessions from any coursemate's profile page
  • Recordings to Google Cloud Storage (GCP/Jibri), YouTube, Dropbox or JaaS (8x8) cloud recordings, published in a Recordings tab
  • AI summary, quiz and transcription of recordings via Google Vertex AI
  • Token-based moderation, breakout rooms, polls, virtual backgrounds
  • Server types: GCP auto-managed, JaaS (8x8), self-hosted or public servers

Some optional features (attendance report, recording view tracking, usage statistics) require a free mod_jitsi Account at portal.sergiocomeron.com.
