About
Generico Two (G2) is a Moodle text filter. Site administrators register templates made of
HTML, Mustache, JavaScript, CSS and an optional SQL dataset, and authors then embed them
anywhere Moodle filters text with a tag such as {G2:type=youtube,videoid=AbCdEfGh}.
Features: templates stored in the database and rendered with Mustache, an admin editor with live preview, a library of ready-made presets, an optional AI helper for writing templates, start/end tag pairs for wrappers such as tabs and accordions, and per-template context restrictions.
Variables: tag parameters, URL parameters, course, user and profile fields, template defaults and SQL dataset results can all be used inside a template.
Migration: a one-click tool imports templates from the original Generico filter, and
legacy {GENERICO:...} tags can optionally be handled.
